Hello, really good to see you again. Today I will be telling you an incident from Lord Ram childhood. This particular incident I read in Ramcharitmanas, by Tulsidas ji.
The story goes as, once in evening, queen Kaushalya, the eldest of three wives of king Dashrath, the ruler of Ayodhya, playing with her son Ram. He was just a little baby, playing with his toys, and all of sudden, Kaushalya could not take her gaze off her son, as if she was mesmerized by the cluster of light oozing out of the little baby she was just playing with, to her wonder Ram transformed from a little boy to four armed Lord Vishnu, her adorable Lord, whom she used to worship. She was in awe, looking with rapture, he was looking the most beautiful of all, big lotus shaped eyes, cloudy black colour of his body, bearing conch (shankh), sudarshan chakra, mace (gada), and lotus flower respectively all four hands, he was like thousands of oceans of beauty. She simply closed her eyes, folded her hands, sang his praises and asked in modesty, O Lord, you are sempiternal, never lasting, source of all knowledge and happiness, how do I glorify you, as you are beyond, all material planes, laudation, knowledge, luxuries, yet source of all. O generous Lord, you are sea of compassion and ecstasy, inspiration of all excellence and commended by Vedas and puranas, be merciful and do me favour, O Laxmikantam, please appear in your Vishwarupa. On hearing this, the Lord took his Vishwaroop (omni form), which is the universal form of Lord vishnu, every pore of his body was narrating Vedas, thousands of universes were floating surrounding Him, kaushalya lost her consciousness wih awe.
When she came to her self, the Lord smiled and told her about her last incarnation, she was Dhara, wife of Dronavasu, and received boon from Lord Vishnu to be have Him as her son, and ask her, how she wanted Him to be so as to fulfill her wishes. She folded her hand and looked upon with tear filled eyes and spoke humbly, O merciful Lord, I am so grateful to be your mother, but I don't want to remember all this, and just want you to be like an ordinary child to me, so I can live my motherhood at its fullest. On hearing those polite words from His mother, He turned into a mortal little child and started crying, queen Kaushalya forgot everything and embrace the baby in her arm.
