Hello, this wonderful story is a true incident and depicts how deity takes care of their devotee when faith is unconditional. 
Great sage pandit shree Shivramkinkar yogtrayanandji was one of the pioneer scholar of ethology. Once due to financial crisis his family and he couldn't have food for three consecutive days. The family was distraught, yet his teaching continued as ever.
The third day while teaching he recieved a telegram and tears rolled down his eyes after reading it. One of his disciples, Narendra dutt noticed and asked out of curiosity, what brought tears to his eyes, there must be some extraordinary things because general events couldn't edge such a remarkably forebearing man like him. Words didn't come out of his mouth, he just handed the letter which was from a anonymous landlord of Kashi to Dutt, it had 10 rupees along with a note read as, yhe landlord had installed Lord Shive in his premises. Last night Lord Shiva appeared in his dream and said He was starving for three days and didn't accept the foodoffering since one of His supreme adorer was abstention for the same duration and instructed the landlord to send cash to Panditji. He only could accept his offerings afterward.
Narendra Dutt was amazed by this hyper physical event and asked his teacher, if he had some problem he could have asked them as well, they were his students after all. They would have arranged everything for him, he adored them as his own child, they too had responsibility to take care of his needs.
Overwhelmed by his obeisance, Shree Shivramkinkar ji embraced Narendra dutt and explained him, he needn't to bother when the supreme deity Lord Shiva was there to nourish and take care of everything and solicitation to other would offend Him. They paid salutation to the Lord.
