When power of love kept sun from rising.. power of virtuous wife

Hello, today's story is all about faith and virtue which can empower commoners to the extent that even Gods pay salutation to them. This is the story of Kaushiki, wife of sage Kaushik.
There was a king who had two daughters, one of them decided go in household while the other choose lifelong austerity.
After many years of penance a sage return with boon of fierce glance that can turn one into ashes. One day he was on his way to pilgrimage and a crow pooped on his head, he looked it furiously and the crow was finished off. Once he visited the elder sister for alms, meanwhile she was serving her husband meal so delayed his call, he glared her furiously but to his astonishment she remained unaffected. Curiously asked for reason she replied simply, she was devoted to her husband that made her not less than any austere and blessed her with more power than any other. The same hermit visited the second ascetic sister and sketch out the incident. She too decided to get married to anyone who passed by her cottage the next morning. A leprotic, sage Kaushik approached the hermitage, as per her words she married him anyway and started performing her duties sincerely and nursing him well.
One day he expressed wish to visit a pond with miraculously healing power, which was on the other side of the deep forest. Kaushiki carried him on her back and started walking through the forest. While doing so she tripped over a sage Mandavya and violated his state of meditation, in turn he cursed Kaushik to die before following sunrise. Agitated by this, Kaushiki stopped the sun to rise in order to escape her husband's death with the power of her love and virtue and created havoc in heaven. The Gods sought help from Lord Brahma, who in turn asked devi Anasuya to convince Kaushiki and let the sun to rise.

After sunrise, sage Kaushik died accordingly the words of Mandavya, but brought back to life and recovered from leprosy as well. All the God showed gratitude and paid salutation to the virtue of a woman.
That is it for now. Thank you so much. 🙏
